Terry Greene purchased Dollar Accounting Services Ltd. in 1994. Prior to the purchase, the firm was a home based business incorporated in 1979. It provided accounting and tax preparation services.
Terry is pleased to say that since the purchase, many of TPG's existing clients originated from this undertaking and they have allowed him to provide these valuable clients with tax, accounting and financial services for close to 18 years.
In 1996, having completed a certificate in Financial Planning and having obtained the prestigious R.F.P. designation, Terry decided to explore the opportunity to affiliate himself with the most experienced Fee-only financial planning firm he could find. This turned out to be Madconald, Shymko & Company whose principals, Doug Macdonald and David Shymko, established the first Fee-only financial advisory firm in Canada in 1972.
Terry Greene was affiliated with Macdonald, Shymko & Company from 1996 to 2008 and changed the corporate name from Dollar Accounting Services to MSC Financial Services. During this time the company's revenues tripled, (partly due to the purchase of Digital North Accounting in 2000) and services expanded to include financial planning on a fee-only basis. In 2008, MSC was renamed TPG Financial Services Inc.
During that period, Terry had been quoted in numerous articles related to financial issues and was the Money Columnist for "Your Office" a nationally distributed magazine published by Staples.
Terry is most pleased that 90% of the new clients he receives are referrals from existing clients.
From 2004 - 2011, Terry occupied the position of Treasurer/Secretary of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners (IAFP). The IAFP issues and protects the R.F.P. designation.

Terry earned his B.B.A.(Economics/Accounting) from Simon Fraser University in 1991.
Since obtaining his degree, Terry has completed the Canadian Securities Course 1992 and completed the 5th year of the CMA program in 1994. Subsequently, Terry received a BCIT Associate Certificate in Financial Planning (Honours - 1996), the CFP designation (Certified Financial Planner - 1997) ,and the R.F.P. designation (Registered Financial Planner - 1996).
Terry Greene, oversees all of the departments at TPG Inc. and, in addition, is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services.
Travis Jmaeff, BBA
Travis obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at S.F.U. in 1993.
Travis joined TPG Inc. in 1994, he is primarily responsible for preparing the personal tax returns for our clients. Since joining the team. Travis has prepared literally thousands of tax returns.
Cameron Burrows, CGA
Cameron is a welcome addition to our team, he brings a wealth of experience, including owning his own accounting practice for several years. As a CGA, he has indepth knowledge of business and tax affairs and adds to our considerable depth of knowledge.
